Dr.Alexis Buffington, DO Dermatologist
Dr. Alexis Buffington is a board-certified dermatologist originally from San Diego, California. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, and completed her medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon. Dr. Buffington completed her internship and dermatology residency at Beaumont Health in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Buffington treats a full spectrum of dermatologic conditions, including skin cancer, inflammatory skin diseases, acne, and disorders of the hair and nails. She remains committed to staying current with advances in dermatologic care and tailoring treatment plans to each patient’s individual needs and goals.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Buffington enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children.
